Our Church Conference will be held on October 20th at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. As a part of our work, we need to fill 3 positions on the Leadership Board (LB). As you may remember, last year we asked people to turn in interest forms as part of the process of nominating to the LB. The Nominations team will review those turned in and conduct interviews. If you would like to be considered, please fill out one of the forms and turn it into Pastor Mike or Pastor MJ. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Mike or Scott Campbell.

Discussion Group with Pastor Mike: Pastor Mike will be leading a discussion on the book How to be a Bad Christian:…And a better human being by Dave Tomlinson. Tomlinson served as a vicar, or priest, at a parish in England and the book is a reflection on conversations and experiences he had with people regarding their faith—especially those who felt like they were bad Christians because they didn’t attend church or were ostracized by the church for some reason. Pastor Mike plans for it to run weekly starting September 27 (Sun) and 28 (Mon). There will be two options to join. We will meet by Zoom on Sundays at 6 p.m. and Mondays in person at 10 a.m. We will decide our pace at the first meeting. Depending on what we decide, the book discussion will last between 6 and 8 weeks. Please email Pastor Mike if you are interested at [email protected]. The book can be found on Amazon.
