Good Trouble Committee
Good Trouble is hosting a table and tent on Saturday, March 28th, on Speedway and Treat for the No Kings Rally from 10am - 2pm. As representatives of Christ’s love for the world, we will distribute water, offer shade, and share information about Catalina, including the Easter Week schedule. Additionally, we will offer sign-making materials and children’s activities. In solidarity with the committee’s sister church, Semilla de Amor, we will accept donations in support of immigrant families.

Join Our Welcoming Team!
|
Becoming part of a church is a process — and it always begins in relationship! We're looking for 5–7 volunteers to help us welcome visitors to Catalina UMC. As part of the team, you'll staff our Welcome Table on Sunday mornings, receive Connect Cards, and offer gift bags to first-time guests. And then the real relationship is built in the follow-up: an invitation to visit over a cup of coffee or tea — no more than an hour — just to get to know them. Training will be provided. If interested, please contact Pastor [email protected]

Art Camp Volunteers Needed!
Instead of Vacation Bible School this summer, we are holding Art Camp at Catalina from July 6-10, 8am to Noon where we will explore different stories from the Bible through art such as painting, beading, cooking, music and more.
|
If you are interested and available to volunteer for Art Camp--to lead a class or to just be a group leader--please contact [email protected]. You will need to go through a background check and attend a training prior to camp. If you have any special artistic talents you'd love to share (even for just one day!!) we would love to hear from you!

We hope you'll join us in fellowship following the service. We try to be good stewards of the planet and recycle plastic. Please be mindful of the labels on the blue trash bins. Only the bin by the coffee is actually trash. The other two are PLASTIC ONLY and STYROFOAM ONLY. Also, please do not put liquids in any bin. The clean-up fairies thank you!

Catalina has an active prayer team, Prayer Partners, praying for YOU throughout the year. If you would like to add a special prayer request, please send it to office@catalinamethodist and we will publish it here!
|
Please be in prayer for:
- Janet Williams experiencing balance issues.
- the US Navy families from the huge US Naval Station in Bahrain. Their evacuation wasn't ordered until the war had already started. Some have arrived safely at an American military base somewhere in Europe. It's not clear that all the families are out or where they might be.
- El Mesias UMC, Nogales; First UMC Bisbee
- Peace. Love. Prayer. Always.
