Pastor Mike's Next Book Discussion
|
Pastor Mike will be leading a discussion on the book “Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life” by religious historian Karen Armstrong. Armstrong uses her insights from Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, and Confucianism to discuss the need for compassion in contemporary life. Additionally, she includes practices for helping to grow our compassion for one another. The book discussion will begin on Sunday, April 27th and Monday April 28th. The group discussions will be at 6 p.m. by Zoom on Sundays and 10 a.m. in person on Mondays. We’ll meet, with breaks, through July. If you are interested in joining, please let Pastor Mike know by emailing him at [email protected]. For book description, go to: https://tinyurl.com/577y4ezn.
