PARKING ALERT FOR THIS SUNDAY, APRIL 06!!!

Cyclovia (a family bicycle event along Treat Ave from Glenn St. to Broadway) will be on this weekend from 9am -3pm. We've done our best to ensure you will be able to park on Sunday for worship, however please know that there may not be parking available in the East lot and the Handicap Parking lot will be unavailable for the duration of the event. PLEASE PARK IN THE WEST PARKING LOT. And enjoy the festivities in front of the Himmel Park Library after church! (CUMC will have a booth at the entrance to our handicap parking lot, so stop by and say hello!) Thank you!

Picnic Fundraiser for VBS

We're raising funds for this year's Vacation Bible School with a picnic on the 1st Street lawn right after the 10am Palm Sunday service on April 13. Tickets are available 4/6 at $7 each from Paige or Anthony after worship or M-Thur, 10am-3pm in the church office (exact cash or check only please!). Join us for food, games and a good time!

The Koinonia Class meets at 9:00 am in Room E23: Our study material is "What's So Amazing About Grace?" Lively learning and real relationships make this group ideal for adults of all ages. We meet weekly on Wednesday mornings in Room E23 at 6:45 am. For those whose schedules allow, we plan on going to breakfast at 8:00 am following Bible Study.

Palm Sunday Picnic is on 4/13 following the 10am service. It will take place on the 1st Street lawn and help fundraise for Vacation Bible School (VBS)! Tickets will be $7 on 3/30 and 4/6 from Paige or Anthony. There will also be tickets for sale in the office (exact cash or check only).

Casa Maria Soup Kitchen Volunteers Needed, April 26, 6:30/7:00am-10am
|
|
We will cook and serve our special chicken and vegetable soup again at 6:30 am on Saturday, April 26th. (Even 7:00 am would work)! Would you like to join a small team of volunteers who cook and serve our excellent chicken-vegetable soup to our hungry neighbors? The work involves standing, lifting, cooking, and serving, using large commercial pots in a very small kitchen. Our volunteers must be gloved, and over the age of 12. Interested? Notify Doug Wingert, at [email protected] or contact the church office.
