GREETINGS FROM STAFF PARISH by Diana Hill
Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) is beginning the process of hiring a Choir Director. Members of the congregation are invited to serve on a Director Search Committee. It would include 1-2 meetings in October to refine the job description and job posting, and have it approved by SPRC. Then we would review the applications, write interview questions, and interview qualified candidates. After selecting a Director your work would likely be done. It is a 3-6 month commitment starting October 1.
Please email [email protected] and state why you’d like to serve on the search committee. We want the committee to represent the many talents and demographics of our congregation.

ANGEL TREE SEASON COMING SOON! by Judy Wingert
|
Catalina has participated in the Angel Tree project through the Prison Fellowship Ministry for the last 25 years. Our congregation provides a clothing gift and a toy gift for each child. We will have 50 children this year. The gifts are for Christmas on behalf of a child's parent who is incarcerated. Stay tuned for specific activities. At the end of Oct. we will need people to call caregivers to get gift ideas, and in Nov. and Dec. we will need people to take an Angel Tree tag and shop for a gift, people to help wrap and people to deliver gifts to caregivers. If you would like to participate in any way, please contact Judy Wingert - [email protected] or 520-909-4404. The Angel Tree project has a few expenses such as postage stamps and manila envelopes. If you would like to donate to Angel Tree, please make a note on your donation. Thanks in advance. This project takes our whole congregation to be successful!
