I am in a leadership group that listens to the podcast “The Non-Anxious Leader.” The podcast is based in Family Systems Theory and looks at how we can become better at being a non-anxious presence in our family life, work life, etc. One of the recent episodes featured an article that was an extract from the book, How We Ended Racism: Realizing a New Possibility in One Generation. NEW BOOK STUDY WITH PASTOR MIKE

Pastor Mike is leading a discussion of the book “Do I Stay Christian?: A Guide for the Doubters, the Disappointed, and the Disillusioned” by Brian McLaren. There are two ways to participate. For online/Zoom, we will meet Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. For in person, we will meet Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. If you are interested in participating, please let Pastor Mike know which day you will be participating by emailing him at [email protected]. WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY FOR FALL by Brenda Halferty
After an eight-week break, we will resume on September 18th for our next women’s Bible study on the Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin. We have enjoyed studies by Jen previously. The study will run on Wednesdays from 9:30 to11:30 Sept 18 - Nov13 in room H230. Hope to see you there. Invite a friend!
