Blenman Elementary Requesting Backpacks
Blenman Elementary, our neighborhood school, is requesting backpacks for the coming school year. School starts August 1st! Many of the families at the school are low income and appreciate our help with school supplies. There is a collection bin at the entrance to the church sanctuary, or backpacks can be left in the church office. The church office hours are M-Th, 10:00 to 3:00. Thank you in advance! Thank You From TTFP!
Dear Members of Catalina United Methodist Church,
On behalf of The Tucson Family Food Project, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Catalina United Methodist Church for your invaluable support in our mission to end childhood food insecurity in Tucson. The generosity and commitment of CUMC has made a significant impact on so many of Tucson's children and has helped give them their best chance of living happy and healthy lives. Since partnering with CUMC, The Tucson Family Food Project has produced over 10,000 meal kits for the kids and families in our program!
We have big, ambitious long-term plans for growing our impact, and community support like yours is essential to our success. Please continue to help us spread the word about what we're doing by talking to your friends and neighbors as we grow our visibility and credibility in the community. We can't do it without your help!
The support of CUMC has proven to be vital and has provided us with the essential resources we need to lay the foundation for our program as we plan strategic growth so we can maximize our impact in the community and create lasting, positive change for the kids we serve. From the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of everyone here at The Tucson Family Food Project, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

YOUR CHURCH NEEDS YOU!
It takes a village to make worship happen on Sundays! We would like you to consider helping out just one Sunday a month or maybe every other month? Our Worship Team chair, Sherry Hoskinson needs volunteers to be greeters (a great way to meet people), collect attendance registrations and offerings (a great way to avoid meeting people), set-up the communion table once a month (easy-peasy), and to help set-up and tear-down the Coffee and Cookies kiosk (a great way to enjoy some extra cookies).
C'mon! Pitch in! Give Sherry a call at 520-307-2470 or email her at [email protected]. Tell her what you will or won't do and when you would like to do it!
