Volunteers Still Needed for June Desert SW Annual Conference
We need 30-40 volunteers the first day of the Conference. Those numbers will decrease as the days go by. The jobs can be as simple as holding doors open, or as specialized as giving directions and guiding people to destinations. Additionally, we need at least four childcare providers. This a paid position, that requires Safe Sanctuaries training. The childcare team needs people who can transport kids in a church van. Note: we have a church van, but we need volunteer van drivers. If you are interested please email [email protected]

YOUR CHURCH NEEDS YOU!
It takes a village to make worship happen on Sundays! We would like you to consider helping out just one Sunday a month or maybe every other month? Our Worship Team chair, Sherry Hoskinson needs volunteers to be greeters (a great way to meet people), collect attendance registrations and offerings (a great way to avoid meeting people), set-up the communion table once a month (easy-peasy), and to help set-up and tear-down the Coffee and Cookies kiosk (a great way to enjoy some extra cookies).
|
C'mon! Pitch in! Give Sherry a call at 520-307-2470 or email her at [email protected]. Tell her what you will or won't do and when you would like to do it!

This is voluntary; you don't have to bring cookies each time your last name comes up! If it’s too hot we’ll gather in the narthex. Thanks to the Ad Board and the Finance Committee, we now have cookie time supplies as a budget item for 2024! Thanks to all who have donated cookies and dollars in 2023! See you at cookie time in 2024! Keep donating those cookies!!! They are delicious! For questions contact [email protected] or 520-909-4404
