Special Fund for H1-B Visa Legal Fees
Our organist Marianna has served our church for almost a year now, and we would like for her to be able to stay for many years. Maintaining a stable staff helps our church build community and strength through continuity. When we hired her, we knew her student visa would expire after she earned her PhD later this year. Marianna will soon need a work visa, in our case, an H1-B visa, to remain our organist.
|
Before we look at other sources of funding, we are asking for your support to fundraise toward the balance of this H-1B visa application, approximately $10,000.00.
|
We are grateful for all donations. To make one, Click Here. Thank you very much!

Volunteers Needed for June Desert SW Annual Conference at CUMC
We need 30-40 volunteers the first day of the Conference. Those numbers will decrease as the days go by. The jobs can be as simple as holding doors open, or as specialized as giving directions and guiding people to destinations. Additionally, we need at least four childcare providers. This a paid position, that requires Safe Sanctuaries training. The childcare team needs people who can transport kids in a church van. Note: we have a church van, but we need volunteer van drivers. If you are interested please email [email protected]
