What's Next? Chapel Connections--Our Final Preview

Our third and final preview this fall will be a worship experience we’re calling Chapel Connections. This service will look and feel more like what many people expect from a Sunday morning worship experience—still relaxed and welcoming, but with the familiar flow of prayer, music, Scripture, and a message.

We’ll gather at 10:00am in the Chapel. The Outreach Team chose the name “Chapel Connections” because this service connects to:
  • our historic space in the Chapel,
  • our existing 10am traditional service happening at the same time,
  • and our desire to build connections across our worshipping communities.
There are practical reasons for trying 10am as well. When people in the wider community are looking for a church service to try, the cultural expectation is that worship happens on a Sunday morning. For families, this time often works best—especially with Sunday School for children and fellowship time following worship already in place. We still need to work out some logistics with musicians and children’s moments, but gathering at 10am gives us a natural way to nurture relationships among people attending both services.
Chapel Connections is simply the next step in our exploration. For those following along with our previews this fall, we remain on track to make decisions about offering something more regular in the first few months of 2026. Your presence, feedback, and prayers are helping shape what comes next, and we’re grateful for everyone's support!

In Christ's Care, Pastor Kelli
