Upcoming Dates for SAS Informational and Exploratory Meetings
“Simplified Accountable Structure” (SAS) has been approved by our Church Council and the Exploratory Committee is now prepared to move toward this new form of church governance. This proposed model seeks to streamline our decision-making process while enhancing the involvement of our congregation. You are invited to learn more at one of the following sessions:

- Sunday, September 14, immediately following the worship service in the Sanctuary (around 11:30). This meeting will be in-person.
- September 15, at 7pm. This meeting will be held virtually over Zoom Please send Pastor Mike if you would like to attend.
- Sunday, September 18 at 6pm. This is also a Zoom meeting. Again, please email Pastor Mike if you would like to attend.
- Sunday, September 21. This will be an in person meeting following worship (around 11:30)

Men’s Bible Study: Wednesdays @ 6:45am in Room E-23

We begin Sept. 03. We meet weekly on Wednesday mornings in Room E23 at 6:45 am. For those whose schedules allow, we plan on going to breakfast at 8:00 am following Bible Study.

Together Tuesdays: Second Tuesday of the month @ 5:30pm in Fellowship Hall
We meet again October 14. An hour of fun in Fellowship Hall for families with children under 8 years old. Includes light meal, singing, crafts and a bible theme each month.

South District Offers Introduction to Lay Ministry Classes
This is an introductory course for Lay Servant Ministries and is foundational for all courses in Lay Servant Ministries. It is an overview of the program and concentrates on the importance of three (3) areas: Leading, Caring, and Communicating (the pillars or core ministries of lay servant ministries).

One class will be in Tucson (in person) on Saturdays, September 27 and October 4. It will be held at St John's UMC. Another class will be at Willcox UMC on Saturdays, October 4 and 11.
|

These classes, as well as all classes (Intro and Advanced offered conference wide for this Fall) are available for registration on the Conference website and can be accessed by clicking HERE.
