BACK TO SCHOOL FOR BLENMAN ELEMENTARY

Blenman Elementary School, our neighborhood school, is again requesting school supplies. School starts August 4th this year! Kelly Mack, the school principal, has requested the following items: Kleenex, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, EXPO markers and composition and wide ruled notebooks.
There will be collection bins in the church narthex and also in the church office. The church office is open Monday-Thursday 10:00 to 3:00. Thank you for helping our school neighbors! Deborah Williams [email protected] or 520-241-6004.

MANY THANKS!

"Thank You" to the congregation for their generous participation in the June "Pride Month" donations of "wish list" items for TIHAN, (Tucson interfaith HIV-AIDS Network). Although the final count of items was not yet tallied at the time of the newsletter deadline, there are already enough donations to fill 4 large plastic tubs.

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS

Women’s Bible Study:
Come join us this summer for a Bible study with no homework! Summer in Tucson is a laid-back time, but we still appreciate being with one another. That’s why we will be using the No Homework, Group Hug by Christine Tate. We will meet in the beautifully renewed Welcome area in our sanctuary from 9:30-10:30am beginning Wednesdays, June 25th and ending July 16th.
We would love to see you there for a no-stress, cool, get-together to learn more about each other and our faith journey. Contact Brenda Halferty for more information at [email protected] or 520-481-6993

Men’s Bible Study: Wednesdays @ 6:45am Currently on Summer Break until after Labor Day!
We meet weekly on Wednesday mornings in Room E23 at 6:45 am. For those whose schedules allow, we plan on going to breakfast at 8:00 am following Bible Study.
