Ash Wednesday: February 18

Begin your Lenten journey with a moment of reflection, prayer, and blessing. Catalina UMC will offer a drive‑through distribution of ashes from 11am-1pm in the West Parking Lot for all who wish to receive them safely and conveniently. Deaconess Toni Smith will be present to offer a brief prayer and the sign of the cross in ashes as we enter this sacred season of repentance and renewal.

Can We Do It Again?
|
February is the time for our annual participation in the Interfaith Community Services (ICS) "Lotsa Pasta" food drive. We will be collecting all types of pasta, macaroni & cheese, and pasta sauces (in cans or plastic only, no glass). Last year our Catalina people were very generous, making hundreds of these food donations. Can we do it again? We will have collection bins in the Sanctuary narthex and in the church office throughout the month of February.

You would be in the classroom from 9:45 to after the children’s message, where you then will be able to join whichever service you would like. Hopefully we will get enough volunteers that we can create a rotation! If this is something you are called to help with please reach out to [email protected].
